TOP-Tech’s Solid-State Battery Technology Earns Industry Recognition and Wins the Lithium Golden Tripod Awar
In the luminous lobby of Royal Venus Hotel Shenzhen, loud applause erupted when TOP-Tech was named winner of the 2025 Lithium Cell Technology Innovation Award. The solid-state battery developer has garnered widespread industry attention.
The 2025 (10th) Qidian Lithium Industry Annual Conference and Lithium Golden Tripod Award Ceremony took place at Royal Venus Hotel Shenzhen on December 18–19, 2025, hosted by Qidian Lithium, Qidian Energy Storage and Qidian Research Institute (SPIR).
Centered on the theme “New Cycle, New Technology, New Ecosystem”, the event attracted over 1,200 companies from the lithium battery industry chain. TOP-Tech claimed the 2025 Lithium Cell Technology Innovation Award for its outstanding technological breakthroughs in solid-state batteries.

01 Grand Industry Event
The Qidian Lithium Industry Annual Conference has run for ten consecutive editions and established itself as a benchmark annual event in the lithium battery sector. This year marks the 10th anniversary celebration of Qidian Lithium & Qidian Research, lending extra special significance to the occasion.
As a key highlight of the annual conference, the Lithium Golden Tripod Award is jointly selected by Qidian Research Institute (SPIR), Qidian Lithium and Qidian Energy Storage, together with more than 100 industry technical experts and research institutions at home and abroad.
The award aims to encourage innovative development within the new energy battery industry and recognize enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the sector.

02 Technological Breakthroughs
TOP-Tech’s award did not come by chance; it stems from continuous technological breakthroughs in the field of solid-state batteries. Shortly before receiving the honor, TOP-Tech launched its solid-state battery solution for UAVs with an energy density reaching 450Wh/kg.
This technical indicator leads the industry. Compared with competing products, the battery achieves a 68% reduction in internal resistance, and the product portfolio covers both high-energy and high-power series.
TOP-Tech’s technical route centers on lithium-rich manganese-based materials, silicon-lithium anodes and composite solid electrolyte systems. This technical combination boosts energy density while greatly enhancing battery safety.
03 Product Roadmap
According to the technical plan released by TOP-Tech, the company has realized mass production of products with an energy density of 400–450Wh/kg. These products have been applied in fields such as UAVs and eVTOLs (electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft) with bulk supply available.
Adhering to a two-year product iteration cycle, the company aims to achieve an energy density of over 600Wh/kg for all-solid-state batteries by 2028.
Beyond high-altitude application scenarios, TOP-Tech is also expanding its products to ground transportation and high-end power banks. The pouch-type semi-solid-state batteries launched for high-speed electric motorcycles and ultra-slim premium power banks deliver excellent performance in nail penetration tests, meeting high safety standards with no fire and no explosion.
04 Industry Significance
Solid-state batteries are deemed a key development direction for next-generation battery technologies, and energy density acts as the core indicator to measure battery performance. At present, the energy density of mainstream liquid lithium-ion batteries generally falls within the range of 250–300 Wh/kg.
Foshan Top Technology has attained an energy density of 450 Wh/kg, marking an approximate 50%–80% upgrade compared with existing technologies. This breakthrough bears vital significance for weight-sensitive application fields such as electric vehicles and air transportation.
High energy density allows batteries to store more electric energy under the same weight, which can directly extend the cruising range of electric equipment, or cut down battery weight to improve transportation efficiency.
Review experts of the Golden Tripod Award pointed out that the technological innovations of Top Technology are reflected not merely in breakthrough parameter indicators, but also in its full-industry-chain integrated technical capacity covering materials, battery cells and terminal applications.
At the Golden Tripod Award Gala Dinner, representatives from Qidian Research Institute presented industry forecast data to attendees: by 2030, the market share of solid-state batteries in the global power battery market is expected to rise from less than 1% at present to over 15%.
After the award ceremony, the booth of TOP-Tech was crowded with industry practitioners seeking consultation. A representative from an investment institution, after inquiring in detail about technical specifications, commented: "This award is more than an honor; it serves as a clear signal that the industry is marching toward the era of solid-state batteries."
