TOP Technology Wins 2024 China Solid-State Battery Influential Brand of the Year

On November 6–7, the 2024 Qidian Lithium & Two-Wheeler Battery Swapping Industry Annual Conference, co-hosted by
Qidian Lithium Battery, Qidian Sodium Battery, Qidian Charging & Swapping and SPIR Research Institute, grandly convened.
Over 1,500 guests from across the industrial chain gathered at the event to explore a new chapter for the industry.
Invited by the organizer, Ai Qun, Deputy General Manager of Foshan Tuopu Technology, attended the summit and delivered
a keynote speech titled *R&D and Application of High-Safety & High-Energy-Density Solid-State Batteries*, which attracted
wide attention and recognition from the industry. The company was also honored with awards including the **2024 10th
Qidian Golden Tripod Award – Influential Chinese Solid-State Battery Brand of the Year**.

Speech Overview

R&D and Application of High-Safety & High-Energy-Density Solid-State Batteries
In terms of cathode materials, Top Technology adopts high-capacity lithium-rich manganese-based material. It delivers
cycling performance and voltage platform characteristics comparable to ternary materials. The world’s first batch of lithium-rich
manganese-based batteries developed by the company has passed national mandatory certification.
For anodes, the innovative silicon-carbon anode solution enables high-energy-density products to achieve extended cycle life.
In the electrolyte segment, Top independently developed polymer solid electrolyte with ionic conductivity exceeding 2 mS/cm.
It features high mechanical strength, excellent ductility and a wide electrochemical window. The enterprise has also developed high
-performance solid-electrolyte-coated separators.
From the manufacturing perspective, Top’s self-developed binders, composite solid electrolyte membranes and dry-process
electrodes all carry distinctive competitive advantages.
At present, Top Technology has launched solid-state cells with an energy density of 400 Wh/kg. The cells support 2C charging and
sustained 10C discharge with a cycle life of 500 cycles, mainly targeted for UAV applications.
